DESCRIPTION
|

|
|
|
|
Provide legal advice and counsel regarding negotiation and drafting of complex agreements for sale of business products and services to federal, as well as possibly state and local, government. Counsel clients regarding contractual, regulatory and related matters arising in competition for and performance of federal government contracts. Work closely with other departments within Company, including contract management, sales, procurement and marketing. Provide legal advice and counsel on a variety of federal contract compliance matters.

REQUIREMENTS
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- J.D. from accredited law school; member in good standing of a bar of the U.S.;
- At least 5 years law firm or in-house experience handling federal procurement transactions, including knowledge of FAR and DFAR and the dispute process;
- Experience in the high-tech industry and software licensing is highly desirable;
- Experience with state and local government contracting a plus; and
- Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication, drafting, negotiating and analytical skills.
