|
Candidate selected will:
- Work closely with the company’s sales force and in general support of the company’s operations group;
- Review and negotiate commercial agreements ranging from sales of the company’s services to acquisition of goods and services, to software licensing and other matters related to the company’s engineering group;
- Review and provide counsel on government contracts, requests for proposals from government agencies and other matters related to government contracting at the state, county and municipal level.
- Participate in resolving administrative law issues; and
- Play a role in a multidisciplinary practice, including telecommunication regulatory matters, litigation, and interaction with state, county and municipal governments on a variety of legal issues.

| REQUIREMENTS |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
- JD from accredited law school; member in good standing of a bar of the US;
- Five plus years combined law firm/in-house relevant experience;
- Telecom legal/regulatory background (wireline preferred);
- Solid experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements;
- Experience reviewing and providing counsel on state, county and municipal government contracts and RFPs (Federal contracting experience will not be relevant in the position.);
- Litigation and/or M&A experience preferred;
- Must be comfortable working closely with clients in an in-house environment; and
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently with confidence.
